Research Interests

Yi is working on integration of lipid membranes with organic electrochemical transistors for biosensing applications. She focuses on optimizing conjugated polymer surfaces to achieve maximized vesicle fusion while using methods such as quartz crystal microbalance (QCM), fluorescence microscopy, and atomic force microscopy to monitor formation and disruption of lipid bilayers on selected electronic surfaces.
